The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc, has unveiled NYSE LaunchPad, a novel initiative aimed at assisting entrepreneurs in leveraging enterprise technology.

The cloud-based platform represents the next evolutionary step for NYSE and ICE in their ongoing efforts to enable both new and established companies to flourish amid ever-changing market conditions.

LaunchPad offers resources to examine, test, and glean actionable intelligence

Built on ICE’s expansive technological know-how, NYSE LaunchPad provides startups the resources to examine, test, and glean actionable intelligence regarding their products. Notably, the program also grants these fledgling companies a unique visibility platform, enabling them to present their innovations to a global audience.

“Throughout its history, and never more true than today, NYSE has had a front row seat to, and a leading role in, the implementation of cutting-edge technology,” said Lynn Martin, President of NYSE Group. “NYSE LaunchPad provides startups with a unique opportunity to tap into our vast expertise, using a secure, cloud-based platform to leverage the best in enterprise-level technology.”

Those participating in NYSE LaunchPad will benefit from testing and evaluation based on real-world use cases. They will also gain access to critical feedback from some of today’s most pioneering innovators and tech professionals. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to engage in NYSE’s annual Tech Summit conference.

The initiative marks a significant shift in how established market infrastructures like NYSE can collaborate with emerging businesses. By providing an ecosystem where startups can not only test their products but also gain visibility, NYSE is essentially serving as an accelerant in the rapidly advancing technology sector.

Options deploys NYSE Chicago Integrated Feed

Earlier this month, Options Technology announced the successful deployment of the NYSE Chicago Integrated Feed to its ActivFeed. The move marks a critical advancement in the company’s mission to provide high-performance, cloud-enabled managed services to participants in the global capital markets.

The NYSE Chicago Integrated Feed is a crucial data component of the esteemed New York Stock Exchange. By integrating this feed into its ActivFeed, Options Technology provides its clients with consolidated access to global market data across multiple asset classes. This is in addition to direct connectivity to a wider capital markets ecosystem, including hosted trading infrastructure.

The integration follows a series of market additions to ActivFeed, which can be normalized from anywhere in the world and includes compatibility with leading cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. This essentially means that market participants can now receive a comprehensive, cloud-enabled data feed with lowered total cost of ownership and improved resiliency.
